Village Roaster is my go-to coffee shop in Lakewood. The service is always so friendly, and I’ve never been disappointed. We recently ordered 25 bags of coffee from them to give out as end-of-year gifts, and they were incredibly helpful in preparing all the boxes and bags for us. I highly recommend them and will definitely be returning!
This is a unique opportunity to support a local small business and really enjoy a great cup of coffee and pastry. The gift shop is extensive with all kinds of cute coffee mugs which I purchased a couple for gifts. Also, I’ve brought selection of coffee beans to purchase and take home. Also a unique offering of herbs and spices two pots and coffee machines.
Love our Lakewood/Belmar neighborhood coffee shop!!! Every time I take my first sip of coffee here, it is like it is giving me a hug. The food is also yummy and the staff is so friendly.
I just started going here a couple months ago and honestly I'm surprised this place has negative reviews. Every time I go I'm greeted with friendly smiles and I've never had a problem with my coffee or food (which by the way, if you haven't tried the pastries they are delicious). Love the atmosphere here, it makes a great place to work for a little while of chat with friends and I absolutely love browsing through the spices and greeting cards.
Amazing quiche cups, the burrito was also quite tasty. Their coffee has been good but not amazing. Definitely a new favorite and worth checking out
The coffee, food and service here are great! Always friendly and drinks are made perfectly. We also love buying bulk coffee and other items. I’ve never had anything I didn’t like here would recommend any of the drinks. The staff has always been extremely welcoming and knowledgeable.
Such a cute shop! I have been in here a couple times to pick up coffee beans from the Goodie Bag app, I love that they partner with them to reduce food waste. We decided to get some drinks and the coffee was very tasty. They make a very dry cappuccino though, pretty much bone dry, so keep that in mind if you prefer a wetter cappuccino. Overall a great cozy shop!
Excellent spot, I wish I knew about it before. The lady from Austria (didn’t get her name) is kind, wonderful and informative when it comes to buying coffee beans. She is the actual reason I keep coming back to the store.
